1. Install the virtual cable
Install VB-Audio Virtual Cable, run the setup as administrator, and reboot if asked.
2. Start SHITmic
Extract the ZIP and double-click START_SHITMIC.bat. SHITmic will try to auto-start routing when it sees CABLE Input.
3. Pick devices
- MICROPHONE: your real microphone.
- VIRTUAL CABLE: CABLE Input.
4. Set the game mic
In your game, Discord, or OBS, microphone should be CABLE Output.
5. Use the filter button correctly
FILTER ON means cursed mic. FILTER OFF means clean pass-through. It does not mute the mic.
